We used pencil to sketch self-portraits by copying photos of ourselves.
Miss Clifford explained how symmetry could be used when drawing our features as each of our faces were symmetrical. We practiced sketching and drawing to get a better understanding of symmetry and spacial awareness.
Our next step was to sketch half of our face and match it up symmetrically to our photos.
Then we used shading to try and match the tone and shadows on our faces.
