Some of the previous 'mediums' we have used are pastel and pencil. Now we are using paint.
First we talked about the types of paintings we could do and then Miss Clifford set up some voting stations so that we could vote for our favourite style of painting. Then we watched a slideshow of paintings that people and children had made using lots of different objects.
Next, we tried out these different objects to see what patterns they made and how useful they were for painting with.
